Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The 22nd session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22), set to take place in Marrakesh on November 7-18, will see notable guests including President of the United States Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Francois Hollande present in Marrakesh, Morocco.

If the confirmation of the visit of Francois Hollande was made during a phone conversation he held with the Moroccan monarch early September, the confirmation of the visit of United States president Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel was made two days ago in a communiqué released by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), on the sidelines of Marrakesh hosting the 2016 FIA Formula E Marrakesh ePrix, the official sporting opening event of COP22.
