Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco condemned in the strongest terms the abject terrorist act perpetrated on Monday against in Berlin, which lead to the death of 12 people wile 48 others were wounded after a truck drove into a Christmas market in Germany’s capital.
Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs referred to the sad event, in a communiqué it released, “a cowardly terrorist act.”
“At this painful time, Morocco expresses its condolences to the German people and to the families and relatives of the victims and reaffirms its continued solidarity with the Federal Republic of Germany,” the communiqué stressed.
“In this difficult context, the Kingdom of Morocco reaffirms its firm condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and reiterates its unwavering commitment to fighting this scourge,” the communiqué closed.
