Moroccan Canadian Halal Shop Owner Azzedine Soufiane Among Victims of the Québec Terrorist Attack

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Members of the Moroccan community in Québec said that at least one Moroccan passed away during the abject terrorist attack on a mosque in the Francophone city of Québec, Canada.

One of the victims is the owner of a Halal shop in Québec. The late goes by the name Azzedine Soufiane.

Azzedine Soufiane was in his fifties and used to pray regularly in the mosque.

According to members of the Moroccan community in Canada, the late left behind him 3 young kids, a young girl and two little boys.

According to the same source, Azzedine immigrated from Morocco to Canada 20 years ago and is originally from the Moroccan city of Khouribga.

Azzedine was “a beloved member of the community,” members of the Moroccan community living in Québec stressed.

They also insisted that the list of victims may include more Moroccans.
