Salé, Morocco (TMT)- The head of prince Moulay Abdellah Hospital in Salé was suspended from work for dereliction of duty.

A patient suffering from coronavirus in said hospital recorded a video yesterday showing her wandering outside her hospital room and illustrating bad conditions and dirt in her room, which triggered the authorities to open an investigation on the matter.

The video was shared heavily among social media users, which triggered the Moroccan minister of health to personly intervene and conduct, with the help of the competent authorities, an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the case.

Upon completion of the investigation, the head of the said hospital was suspended from his duties.

It is worth reminding that said hospital was reinaugurated by the Moroccan monarch in 2018, following the completion of renovation works.
