Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco is expected to witness a higher rate of divorces as soon as the Moroccan authorities declare the end of the state of a health emergency.

This is what we can learn from China. The south Asian country witnessed more cases of domestic violence during the state-imposed quarantine.

As soon as the end of the state of emergency was declared, various Chinese have rushed to file a divorce.

According to statistics from China, the rate of domestic violence during quarantine increased by threefold.

Other researches, which studied people who were forced to stay home together during natural disasters, confirm the uptick in divorce rates witnessed in China.

Conflicts tend to arise when people stick together in the same place for a long time.
