Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The British Ambassador to Morocco Thomas Reilly commended the Moroccan people for their sense of generosity and solidarity, in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus world crisis.

Reilly said in a tweet that he opened his LinkedIn page and found “loads of messages from #Moroccans offering their houses & accommodation to British nationals stuck in Morocco.”

“It is that kind of generosity & warmth of spirit that makes #Morocco such a remarkable country. I hope my countrymen come back soon,” Reilly added.

A lot of British citizens reacted to his tweet, confirming the sense of generosity and hospitality of Moroccans.

It is worth reminding that Morocco was ranked the third most welcoming country to foreigners in the World in a study on global tourism by the World Economic Forum, relayed by the Washington Post.
