Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan Ministry of Interior said in a press release that all drivers who fail to comply with the state of health emergency measures will see the confiscation of their driving licenses and car registration cards, well-known in Morocco under its French version carte grise.
The authorities also said that such drivers will be subject to a fine.
Exceptions will be made for people who may transgress the measures due to “exceptional and urgent circumstances”.
For the latter case, local authority agents will assess the situation on a case by case basis.
