Marrakesh, Morocco (TMT)- The head of the Chichaoua municipality (Qaed) was among yesterday’s coronavirus victims, local media in Chichaoua reported.
The aforementioned sources said the man passed away in a local hospital.
This is the first case of an authority agent who succumbs to the coronavirus.
It is worth reminding that in Morocco, a Qaed is appointed directly by Morocco’s Ministry of Interior.
