13.091 arrested in Morocco for violating “nationwide curfew”

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A communiqué from Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security, well-known under its French acronym DGSN, said that 13091 people were arrested across the kingdom for ignoring the measures taken by the authorities to clamp down on the virus outbreak.

The DSGN said that since the start of the state of health emergency across the kingdom, a total of 24.311 breached the anti-coronavirus orders, from which 13.091 are in custody and will be presented before a public prosecutor.

The DSGN said that in the last 24 hours, more than 2000 people have violated the measures, from which 1769 were arrested.
