Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The consumption of TV programs is all but waning in the month of Ramadan, despite the criticism various TV shows received in the early days of the holy month.

For example, Moroccan TV show “Swilhfa,” broadcast on national TV Al Aoula during fast-breaking time, racked up 7 million views daily on average.

Other shows like “Yaqout w Anbar,” also broadcast on Al Aoula, winded up a whopping 6.5 million viewers on average since the start of Ramadan.

“Lconji,” another show on Al Awla, broadcast late in the evening, has 5.5 million viewers per day.

Those record numbers have been registered thanks to the nationwide curfew, implemented in Morocco to combat COVID-19.
