Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The secretary-general of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), Nabil Benabdellah said in an interview given to Moroccan outlet Al3omk that the controversial draft-law 22.20 is “quite dangerous as it targets the heart of freedom of speech.”

Benabdellah also called on the government “to withdraw it immediately, and not just postpone discussions on it for a while.”

Benabdellah noted that “if it were not for the current circumstance the kingdom is going through due to the Corona pandemic, I would have asked opposition parties to submit a request to withdraw confidence from the government and dismiss it.”
