Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Concerns and fears raised a few days ago about the military base Dhar Lmahraze turning into a COVID-19 infection cluster have not been allayed, rather confirmed.
According to a story on today’s edition of Moroccan paper Akhbar Al Yaoum, no less than 30 military men, all belonging to the country’s “Operation Hadar,” have tested positive.
They all contracted the virus from a 40-year-old soldier, who passed away last week.
The late, who had underlying health conditions, was admitted quite late to a local hospital after he thought he only had a fever.
