Laayoune, Morocco (TMT)- Following all COVID-19 patients fully recovering and no more infection cases of the novel coronavirus being recorded for days, Laayoune looks poised to become the first Moroccan city to relax the nationwide curfew measures.

Despite no official statement announcing the aforementioned, various businesses have received the green light from the authorities today to open.

Of course, all social distancing guidelines are still in place, until further notice.

And despite the relaxation of the lockdown measures, the state of health emergency has not ended in Laayoune.

This means that the nationwide curfew from 19:00 to 05:00 is still in effect.
