Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to a study undertaken by Minasat, 59% of Moroccans believe COVID-19 was made in a lab.
22%, on the other hand, believe the virus was natural, while 5% think the virus is either a divine punishment or believe it was the product of pure chance.
Minasat said the study was performed on 2556 persons, further noting that 98% of them had good knowledge about the novel coronavirus as they provided correct answers when quizzed about COVID-19 and other bacteria and viruses.
93% of the surveyed said they are satisfied with the efforts deployed by the Moroccan authorities to halt the spread of the pandemic.
96.1% approved the authorities’ decision to close mosques to contain the spread of the secret killer.
