Rabat, Morocco- The Moroccan head of government Saadedine Othmani announced that his government is readying a set of guidelines to allow a number of businesses to resume their industrial and commercial activities.

Othmani made the revelation in a live session broadcast on Facebook last Friday evening.

The list of businesses to benefit from this relaxation will include restaurants, cafes barber shops, among others.

Othmani noted that controlling human gatherings remains a difficult endeavor.

Othmani stressed that economic activity cannot stop despite the pandemic, especially the supply chains.

He said many companies will be allowed to gradually return to work after the Eid holiday, but stressed that enterprises have to adhere to the preventive measures set by the country’s health authorities.
