Moroccan insurance company RMA Wataniya has acquired four companies in its first move in the African market.

RMA Watania did not divulgate to the public neither the names nor the countries of the companies it acquired.

The company only said the companies it acquired are operating in “three key countries” and that it is aiming with such a move “premiums of 400 to 500 million.”

Media sources speculate that these companies could be: Beneficial Life Insurance SA Cameroon, Cameroon Beneficial General Insurance SA, Beneficial Life Insurance SA Insurance Belifa Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire SA.

Worthy pointing out that RMA Wataniya is  a leader insurance company in Morocco.
