The Washington Post: Case shows hurdles in fighting Morocco corruption

The Washington post released to day an AP  article shedding the light on Corruption in Morocco.

The article says hurdles are being put in Morocco to fight any effort to denounce acts of corruption.

The article’s writer interviewed Abdelaziz Aftati, a leading member of the ruling Islamist Party for Justice and Development, who said that “The deep state resisted the fight against corruption and intervened to change the course of events and launch this unjust trial,”, making reference to a trial filed by Finance Minister Nizar Baraka, against the whistleblowers of the former Finance Minister Mezouar  case.
