As relayed by La Map, a sexagenarian woman passed away yesterday morning after being violently struck by a freight train near the Sidi El Aidi station, local authorities said.
The body of the victim was transported to the morgue of the hospital Hassan II in Settat.
An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of this accident, the same source added.
