Sheick Fizazi, a well-know “Salafi” imam in Morocco,  performed Friday’s sermon and lead prayer before HM King Mohammed VI, at Tariq Ibn Zyad Mosque in Tangier.

Worthy mentioning that Fizazi spend about 8 years behind bars after being linked to Casablanca’s 2003 terrorist attacks.

Fizazi found freedom in 2011 benefiting from a “royal pardon”.
