The US Labor Department has granted Morocco $5m to tackle child labor in the country.
The project will focus mainly on the Marrakesh-Tensift-Al-Haouz region.
The project aims to promote children’s participation in educational programs on one hand.
On the other hand, the project will be aiming to provide vocational training in the agriculture and ecotourism sectors.
The program will be, also, an opportunity to help Marrakesh-Tensift-Al-Haouz region youth, with a legal working age, to secure good employment opportunities.
