Rabat – according to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahraini-Moroccan Friendship Parliamentary delegation focused on the importance of expanding trade and economic exchange between the countries, which shall start by opening a direct air channel between Morocco and Bahrain.
The delegation emphasized on the increase of the trade level and investment between the two kingdoms, especially in the fields of agriculture and livestock, and the attraction of products and commodities to local markets.
This statement came after Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security, MP Sawsan Taqawi and the associated delegation were received by the Moroccan Economy and Finance Minister Mohamed Boussaid in Rabat.
Mr. Boussaid highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral relations between the two kingdoms, while focusing on the Moroccan government’s keenness to discuss further cooperation and trade relations, as well as joint economic projects.
He confirmed the need to establish more commercial projects and exchange of administrative expertise between the two countries in all fields.
