Rabat, Morocco- Two aerospace companies, the American Alcoa Fastening Systems and the French Atelier de Haute Garonne (AHG), each will build an “affiliate factory” in the MidParc free zone near Casablanca, where the Giant aerospace Bombardier has a plant project that will be launched by the end of the year.
The two companies’ investment agreements were signed with the Moroccan government on Wednesday in Casablanca.
Each of the two companies will invest on its project, excluding the land, a budget of approximately $4 million.
The aviation sector in Morocco has an average growth rate of 15-20 % per year according to aerospace experts.
