The Moroccan Times understands that Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Fernández Díaz recognized “unconsciously” the Moroccanity of the Western Sahara region when discussing the recent migration issues Sebta and Melilia are facing these days.

As a matter of fact, The Wall Street Journal reported the following:

“Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Fernández Díaz said during a visit to Ceuta in February that 80,000 migrants were waiting in Morocco or along its border with Mauritania for a chance to reach the enclaves”.

This statement clearly attests, from a psychological perspective, that the Spanish Interior Minister believes, deep inside of him, of the Moroccanity of the Western Sahara region, especially that those words were uttered while reflecting about another subject.
