Tripoli Interational Fair: Morocco reiterates its aspiration for an economic integration with the Maghreb countries

Morocco has participated, as the honorary guest, for the second time consecutively, in the Tripoli International Fair. “This important participation reflects the Moroccan determination to strengthen and develop trade relations and economic partnership with Libya” said the Moroccan Minister in charge of Foreign Trade, Mr. Mohamed Aboo.

Mr. Aboo highlighted also the “Moroccan will to consolidate the economic cooperation between entrepreneurs from the two countries”. As a matter of fact, the Moroccan strong presence in this fair, expresses the Kingdom’s deep conviction to work for the Maghreb Economic Integration.

“The trade volume between Libya and Morocco does not really reflect the fraternal relations between the two peoples and their common aspirations” Concluded Mr. Aboo. The Moroccan Libyan trade is currently estimated at $120 million, while the Libyan investments in Morocco increased from a fair 1DH Million in 2011 to approximately 22DH Millions in 2012.
