The Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has announced that his country will not normalize its currently strained bilateral relations with Israel, as this latter is still escalating its military strikes on Gaza Strip.
According to the Turkish Today’s Zaman, Erdogan phoned separately the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, and Hamas leader, Khaled Meshaal. During these calls, Erdogan expressed Turkey’s solidarity with palestinians against the Israeli attacks.
The Turkish Prime Minister also called upon the international community to take actions for ending Israeli attacks and providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians.
