ABC World News Propaganda Misleads Audience By Identifying Pictures of Palestinians as Suffering Israelis

During a report made by ABC World News on Tuesday, Diane Sawyer showed a picture describing Israeli citizens under attack trying to salvage what they can. However, the Pro-Palestinian journalist Rania Khalek revealed that the picture portrayed the opposite; that photo is actually of Palestinians walking through rubble after an Israeli airstrike.

On the same report, ABC describes an image of a Palestinian woman surrounded by destroyed homes as “one woman standing speechless among the ruins,” with the implication that she is Israeli.

After Rania Khalek reported that the pictures are misleading, ABC World News apologized on their official twitter page correcting the identification of the picture as it stated: “On Tuesday night “world News” aired a report on the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, including attacks from both sides. In the introduction to the story, we mistakenly identified a family depicted in a still photo. They are Palestinian, not Israeli.”
