Real Madrid announced that they have reached an agreement with Levante for the transfer of Costa Rica’s goalkeeper Keylos Navas. He will be tied with the Blancos for a period of 6 years and is expected to be unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu on August 5th. The deal is estimated to be around 10 million euros.
The 27 year old goalkeeper drew the world’s attention with his outstanding performances during the World Cup in Brazil and helped his team top Group D and reach the quarter finals of the competition for their first time.
With Diego Lopez most likely to leave Real Madrid, Navas will have to fight for the starting spot with Iker Casillas, who ultimately won his battle against Diego Lopez.
