Moroccan and Algerian Windows Users Among “Top 10 Vulnerable Victims” of Malwares

The information and systems security specialized company Kaspersky Lab has released a report about its conducted study, between November 2013 and June 2014 entitled the “vulnerabilities of Windows usage”.

According to this report, Moroccan and Algerian windows users are among the “Top 10 potential victims” of the “CVE-2010-2568 vulnerability”.

Kaspersky Lab noted that malwares that exploit this vulnerability by affecting Windows operating systems are still prevalent in both countries, namely affecting 3.7% in Algeria and 2.21% in Morocco.

The report ranked Vietnam first with 42.45% of malwares detected during the study period, followed by India 11.7%, Indonesia (9.43%) and Brazil (5.52%).
