According to a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Satoshi Miyamoto, President of the Japanese External Trade Organization JETRO, is currently visiting Morocco to discuss new prospects for cooperation between Morocco and Japan, as well as to commit to the organization of the Japan – Arab Countries Economic Forum that will be held on the 15th and 16th of December 2014, in Marrakech, and that will witness the participation of leading Japanese, Moroccan and Arab companies.
Yesterday, Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, received JETRO’s president and both “parties reaffirmed the excellent relations that exist between Morocco and Japan and that are characterised by a strong and regular political dialogue and cooperation on many levels, including economic cooperation,” the aforementioned statement said.
“The two sides expressed their satisfaction for the holding, on 15 and 16 December 2014, in Marrakech, of the Japan – Arab Countries Economic Forum, that will witness the participation of a number of Japanese, Moroccan and Arab companies,” the statement closed.
