During the Port Finance International (PFI) conference, attended yesterday in Casablanca by various international port activity stakeholders, the Moroccan MInister of Transport and Equipment, Aziz Rebbah, announced the creation of 5 new seaports.
Mr. Rebbah also noted during the PFI opening statement that “economic globalization requires constant development and continuous modernization of seaports”.
Worth mentioning that the Moroccan seaport of Tanger Med 1 has climbed up from the 72nd to 55th position recently and was ranked among the world’s largest ports.
