Last Tudsady, King Mohammed VI inaugurated in the northern city of Mdiq a new theather: The Lalla Aicha Theater.
According to the Moroccan state agency press La MAP, the said theater is built “on 1,500 square meters, the 16.5-million-dirham socio-cultural facility comprises a 360-seat auditorium, dressing rooms for artists, music and theater workshops, a cultural entertainment office and all dependencies required for this type of building.”
The aforementioned source added taht the Lalla Aicha Theather, “whose works were launched by the Sovereign in February 2010, will improve the access of local population to cultural and artistic activities, as part of the integrated social upgrading program for the M’diq-Fnideq region, which aims notably to encourage talents, improve the level of student learning and establish spaces for artistic creation and exchange.”
