Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to the last report from Morocco’s National Telecom Regulatory Agency (ANRT), the number of Internet subscribers in Morocco recently surpassed the 10 million bar, namely reaching 10.32 million users at the end of the first quarter 2015.
With the aforementioned number on hand, Morocco’s Internet subscribers annual growth rate reached 61.4%.
According to the ANRT, the Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line’s customer base (ADSL) recorded an annual growth of around 16%, while the 3G customer base, which currently stands at 9.2 million subscribers, reached an annual increase of 68.8%.
