Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The recent controversial, not to say very unprofessional and racist, drawing of Charlie Hebdo portraying Aylan Kurdi– the media sensation young toddler who washed ashore in Syria last year when his family tried to cross the sea to Greece running away from ISIS– as a sexual predator chasing German women, with his tongue out and arms outstretched, made his dad cry of sadness.
Aylan Kurdi’s father told AFP that he cried when he saw the drawings, further stressing that his family did not recover yet from the shock that followed the drowning.
Aylan’s father referred to the drawings of Charlie Hebdo as “inhuman and immoral” and comparable to the actions of “war criminals and terrorists” that caused thousands of deaths and displaced in Syria and elsewhere.
