Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The secretary general of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), Nabil Benabdellah said in an interview given to Al3omk that he experienced some difficult moments in the last 5 years as part of the government, stressing that at some point of time, he was asked “to leave Benkirane,” which he refused.
“What does it mean to leave him alone to them?” Benabdellah wondered.
“They told me ‘leave Benkirane alone to us.'” [خلينا منا ليه]
“Are we puppets here?” Benabdellah wondered.
“What are we doing in the government then?” Benabdellah added.
“We are a political party with more than 60 years of existence,” Benabdellah said.
