Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco’s confederation of enterprises, well-known under its French acronym CGEM, has issued a statement calling on all Moroccan enterprises to promote remote work.

The President of the aforementioned body, Chakib Alj, said that all Moroccan enterprises “should encourage remote work for all workers whose type of work may allow working from distance.”

Chakib Alj also called on companies to allow people with chronic diseases, heart disease, or diabetes to stay at home, “even if their presence is necessary.”

Alj also said that Moroccan companies should limit meeting times as much as possible.
