Frankfurt, Germany (TMT)- The Moroccan Islamic Cultural center in Germany announced Friday, April 24 the first day of Ramadan 2020.

The aforementioned center, based in Frankfurt, Germany, said the crescent of the moon was not sighted yesterday evening, and accordingly, fasting will start on Friday.

This Ramadan comes amid the coronavirus outbreak, which pushed most mosques and religious shrines around the world to shut down, in a bet to halt the spread of the virus.
