Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The death of a 35-year-old Moroccan woman in a public bathroom in the Plaza de Toros Homeless Shelter in Melilla has forced the Moroccan authorities to change their mind about not allowing Moroccans stranded abroad to return back to their homeland, especially that the event triggered a wave of condemnation on social media platforms.

The 35-year-old, a domestic worker, passed away in mysterious circumstances. She was initially hosted by her employer when Morocco decided to shud down its borders, but he, days later, chased her from his house, which left her in a very vulnerable situation, at the mercy of criminals and gangs.

The late’s body is currently being subject to an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Her death has forced the Moroccan authorities to allow the repatriation of 200 Moroccans from Melilla as the featured video from Al3omk illustrates.
