Nordin Amrabat Received Offer to Partner Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Al Nassr

Moroccan international player, Nordin Amrabat, currently with AEK Athens, is aiming to return to the Dutch League Eredivisie.

He revealed recently in an interview given to a Dutch channel Zigo Sports that he has met with two Dutch teams and been in contact with others with hopes of moving back to the Eredivisie.

The Moroccan player stated: “I have been playing abroad for twelve and a half years, it is now time to return to the Netherlands. I have sat with two teams and have been in touch with two other clubs”.

He added: “Al-Nassr offered me the possibility to return to Saudi Arabia in the last winter transfer window in order to form an attacking duo with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the management of AEK Athens refused to let me go and insisted on my staying with the team until the end of the season”.

Amrabat has had a successful season with AEK Athens, playing 34 matches and scoring eight goals, helping the team win the Greek league and cup. Previously, he played in Turkey, Spain, England, and Saudi Arabia.
