Jebha Commune Leader Jailed for Drug Trafficking

The head of the Bani Razine commune (Jebha, Chefchaouen province) and his brother have been sentenced to jail on charges of drug trafficking.

The leader received a one-year sentence, while his brother received a two-year sentence.

The case stems from an incident on March 3rd, when authorities intercepted a vehicle loaded with a large quantity of hashish.

Investigations implicated the commune leader and his brother in a drug smuggling network. Both were arrested at their residence‚Äč.
