Local authorities in the Beni Mellal region have announced that construction work on the new railway line that will connect Casablanca to Beni Mellal via Khouribga will soon commence.
The announcement was made during a meeting between the governor of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, Khalid Habib, and the Director General of Morocco’s National Office of Railways, well-known under its French acronym ONCF.
Various aspects of completing this railway line linking Beni Mellal to Casablanca via the Khouribga region were discussed.
The new railway line is expected to have significant positive economic and social impacts on the region and its residents.
