According to the Moroccan news outlet Leconomiste, the new terminal of the Fes–Saïss airport will be ready by March 2015, said Aziz Rabbah, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics.
With this new platform, Fez will be able to compete now with other international cities in terms of their airport infrastructure.
The construction of the new terminal has started three years ago, part of an expansion plan of the airport of Fes–Saïss project.
The expansion costs amount to 479 million dirhams.
Starting from March 2015, the airport will be able to attract 2.5 million passengers per year, against only 500,000 for the current period.
