Egypt: Bomb Explodes outside Cairo University, 11 Wounded

An improvised bomb went off Wednesday afternoon outside Cairo University, causing several injuries.

The explosive devise detonated near a separate faculty building across the street from the university campus in Giza, the site of a previous deadly bombing, Al-Ahram’s Arabic news website reported.

11 people were injured, including “four Egyptian policemen among the wounded in blast that comes after security forces clamp down on student protests,” Al Jazeera reported.
