The Polisario Front said they are ready to take up arms again against Morocco “to free the Sahara from occupation” if the situation keeps bogging out and no solution is found by the United Nations.
The so-called Foreign Minister of the Polisario, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, told the Algerian Press Service that the situation currently is in a deadlock, especially that the New York talks have stalled.
Morocco considers the Sahara’s Moroccanness crystal clear legally, historically and culturally as it always was most of the time past of former Moroccan dynasties.
Morocco always pinpoints Algeria as the main source of discord in this issue as it is directly supporting financially, training military and dictating the choices of the Polisario front, which is a blatant violation of international law and international conventions on the rights of refugees.
