CAF Rejected Morocco’s Decision to Postpone Africa Cup of Nations Despite Ebola Threat.

The African Federation of Football (CAF) president Mr. Hayatou gave yesterday an interview to French radio station Paris Direct and said that the 2015 African Nations Cup of nations new host wil be known in “three or four days”.

Hayatou told Paris Direct the following:

“There are a lot of reasons that led us to not change the date.”

“You know we have a problem with the French clubs who will not release our players if we move the Africa Cup of Nations from this time.

“We have not had time to get in touch with these other federations officials to try to discuss the organisation. Therefore, I cannot tell you where it will be played. All I can tell you is that it will take place.

“Just wait three or four days, do not be in a hurry, this has been going on for a month now.”
