A video footage (check video above) showing racist Chelsea fans pushing a black man out of a subway train in Paris went viral on the net.
The sad event happened few hours before the kick off of the PSG vs Chelsea game.
Whenever the black man attempted to board the train, the fans were pushing him out, before chanting “We’re racist, we’re racist, and that’s the way we like it.”
The racist actions were incomprehensible by most of Chelsea fans around the globe, especially that one of the best strikers in the history of the club, namely Drogba, was black.
Chelsea reacted to the video and vowed to ban any season-ticket holders or members involved.
A statement from the club, relayed by the Guardian, read the following: “Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society. We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season-ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders.”
