Rabat, Morocco- While the Tunisian president Beji Caid Essebsi was thanking the various notorious guests who took part of the march against terrorism in Tunis, the man said “I thank François Mitterrand,” confusing during the exercise the current president of France, Francois Hollande with the 21st President of the said country, François Mitterrand, who served from 1981 until 1995.

Right after uttering François Mitterrand, a wave of laughter was witnessed among the audience, which triggered the French president to smile accordingly in a “sympathetic” way, especially that the 88-year-old Tunisian president blamed “his old age” for the confusion.
