Rabat, Morocco (TMT)-Morocco’s Minister-Delegate for the Budget Mr. Idriss Azami Al Idrissi said recently in the wake of a gathering organized by the youth section of the Justice and Development party that “Moroccan Facebook users make more pressure on the Moroccan officials than the whole parliament.”

The Moroccan minister stressed that the collective intelligence behind various social media offers a new platform to prompt all Moroccans to fight corruption by uploading videos and creating Facebook pages to pressure the authorities to take specific decisions, or to cancel others.

It is worth reminding that various Moroccan officials were sacked recently after getting caught red-handed in various ethical and corruption scandals, all thanks to social media platforms following videos featuring their mischief getting shared heavily on the net.
