Rabat, Morocco- So weakling a creature man is! He is so dwarf, before the absloute might of his Creator, as to display weakness in every aspect of his conduct. Supposing that sleep declined to come your way, would you be able to summon it back?! Surely, you would helplessly suffer from a severe sleepless night; while you burn the midnight oil, some people uncaringly snore near you, and others have already seen a series of dreams, yet you wish in vain for at least some forty winks. Aren’t you a feeble dwarf as respects power? Suppose you wanted to pass water, but it was blocked in you, how would you feel and who would lend you a helping hand? They would insert a clumsy and loathsome urinary catheter into your bladder, and you would yearn for the golden days when you used to spontaneously evacuate urine away from the annoying gaze of nurses and doctors. You might await an imminent surgical operation that may leave scars in both your body and psyche.
There are so many gifts we are endowed with, but foolishly fail to recognise and deliberately gloss over. If gas failed to quit your belly, wouldn’t you burst into tears as you feel your stomach and intestines are about to explode? Too much discomfort and a terrible pain would make you forget all happy moments in your life. Is it “nature” that relieves you or God, better Allah, the Maker of nature itself that allows you physical ease and well-being? If you almost drowned in the deep all alone, who would you call to extricate you from such an awkward predicament, nature or the Creator of nature? If you lost an eye, a hand or a foot, how feebler and dwarfish would you be? If kidney stones failed to pass into your ureter, how much pain would you suffer? Is it Allah the Healer who takes care of you or nature which is created the same as kidneys themselves? Who filters your blood 24-7-365 with no assistance from a shift staff or virtual call centres? Verily, we are hemmed in by so many graces, but imaginary blinkers surround them with haziness!
Is it only nature baring its fangs as a sign of anger In case of a devastating deluge, or a frightening earthquake, or rather it is a divinely plan full of wisdom? We actually need to rethink so-called secularism and atheism? Who created you? Who allowed you speech and mobility? Who imparted you with grey matter that distinguished you from beasts and insects? No wonder, an asphalted road is quite different from a dusty and stony track in the countryside! A straight road is dissimilar to a curved one. You are free to choose either one. You are quite free to opt for heaven or hell; nobody can impose a choice on you, but remember you are accountable for your option that will be crystal clear, belatedly enough, once you are entombed.
