EU Parliament refuses to exempt Moroccans from Visa

schengenThe European Parliament unanimously rejected a bill exempting Moroccans from the hassle of applying for a Schengen  Visa last week.

The Vote was rejected despite Morocco having an agreement of friendship and neighborliness with the EU,  and the fact that the EU is Morocco’s first business partner.

Surprisingly, other countries like Peru and Columbia were exempted from the same Visa during the very same vote.

This later decision raised many eyebrows in Morocco and Moroccans can’t understand why Peruvians and Colombians will be exempted while Moroccans would not.
