Mohamed V airport: More than 3.2 kilograms of cocaine seized

On his arrival From Latin America, a sub-Saharan national was arrested in Casablanca Mohammed V airport (CMN) who was trying to introduce 3.2 kg of cocaine.

In a press statement, Abdelhadi Siba stated that the drugs were found hidden in the traveller’s suitcase, which were originated from a country in Latin America.

The introduction of the drug was halted thanks to the vigilance of the elements of the various departments of law enforcement who, having had suspicions about the alleged trafficker, conducted a thorough search of his luggage before finding the cocaine.

According to the same source, in less than a week about 7.5 kg of cocaine were seized at the airport. The police had got hold of four kilograms of the drug in two separate operations and arrested two women, one Saturday with possession 2.3 kg and the second Sunday with 1.850 kg.
